Hi, my name is Isabel Cuevas, I am Spanish and I am the founder of PeninSula, Iberian Wines.

I started working in the wine business in 1998 in my homeland Extremadura (Spain) and since then my love for wine and good food has been growing year after year.

I have worked in 3 different countries: Spain, Japan and the UK.

In January 2011, after getting my WSET Advanced certificate in Devon (UK), I decided to create my own export agency specialising in Spanish and Portuguese wines and being the link between Iberian wine producers and wine importers all over the world.

PeninSula offers small producers the possibility of approaching foreign markets in an easy way, without the need of having their own export department.  Working together as a team, we can design the best strategy and action plan to guarantee a successful business in any market.

We customize our services to satisfy the specific requirements of our clients.  Thus, we can cooperate with them for a simple one-off business transaction or we can go as far as to become their sole representative in foreign markets.

Some of the wineries I am currently working with are:  Bodegas Toribio (Extremadura, Spain), Cellers Unió-Olis de Catalunya (Reus, Spain), Quinta do Vallado (Douro, Portugal), and Al-balata Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Extremadura).
